Kind words from 2nd Harvest

“Happy New Year Sara, Todd, Angie, and all at Metals Fab,

Thanks for the incredible generosity you recently shared from your fourth quarter giving voting efforts. Can you believe you’ve been helping ensure no one in our community goes to bed hungry for nearly a quarter-century now? People move into and out of poverty and needing help, and you’ve been there for them when times have been tough. Right now, we’re seeing some serious food supply headwinds right now and your gift is especially important in helping stock the shelves of our partner food pantries, and in sourcing and transporting as much food as we can get our hands on to those who need it most. Inflation continues to impact low-income households, and has even been creeping into middle-income households. Often there’s just more month than there are dollars available for life’s necessities. Your generosity means that food doesn’t have to be a trade-off or impossible choice among things like housing, medicine, childcare, gas, and groceries. Glad you’re on our team and thanks for choosing to make an impact through Second Harvest to make a difference. Please enjoy this brief video greeting from outside our Wolff Family Child Hunger Solution Center. If there’s ever an opportunity to have the Metals Fab team in for a volunteer session in this year ahead know that we’d love to host you.

Thanks for all your support now and over the years. This important work happens because of you.”
